It is an initiative of The CivicWell, which aims to prepare future leaders who will take responsibility for their local communities.

At Civicspark, you have the opportunity to be a part of a growing movement to create positive change in the world. Civicspark is a not-for-profit youth initiative that empowers young men and women to initiate positive change in their neighborhoods. We provide a platform for you to engage in social issues, develop your leadership skills, and create a network of like-minded young people. Civicspark can help you build a strong resume and expand your network. Civicspark welcomes people from all walks of life and with different skill sets. As a member of Civicspark, you will have the opportunity to work with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

Program outcomes: developing the next generation of environmental and social equity leaders

The program of Civicspark aims to build a responsible, ethical and environmentally sound community that respects cultural and religious diversity. This can be achieved through the following core outcomes and competencies.

  • Promoting a sustainable, inclusive, and culturally sensitive environment
  • Fostering a sense of awareness, social responsibility, and civic participation amongst communities
  • Promoting gender equity and creating an environment free of discrimination and sexual harassment
  • Exploring and promoting peace-building as an alternative to violence and/or war
