You are invited to submit up to two stellar photos that illustrate the impact of AmeriCorps for the first ever AmeriCorps Photo Contest! Winning photos will be used to inspire and educate the world about the benefits and opportunities gained for communities and AmeriCorps members and alums.

Contest Deadline Extended to Friday, May 29th. Use the long weekend to Create!

Step 1: Shoot

Shoot a compelling photo. Think about the impact of AmeriCorps, how will you capture it? Here are some additional questions to ask yourself.

Step 2: Submit

Format your photo according to the guidelines, and upload it here to this site between May 1 and May 22, 2009. Here is a full schedule for the contest.

Step 3: View and Vote

A panel of renowned judges will view your submission and narrow to 5 finalists. Then the public will vote on this site between June 15 and July 6 to determine this year's winners. See judging process.
